Promotion of innovation in health care is one of the main strategic lines of Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Getafe. Innovation is promoted both internally at Hospital Universitario de Getafe and externally, through cooperation with other national and international R&D&i organizations.

In order to meet these objectives, the Institute has set up an Innovation Committee to analyze the clinical, technical, commercial, and ethical viability of the innovation proposals generated internally and through alliances with other R&D&i groups.
